Amazon EU GPSR compliance: Keeping the listing on the air

If you want to sell your products on the Amazon EU market, you must comply with the General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR).

Amazon GPSR Safety Attestation processor

GPSR compliance is a critical step in ensuring that your products are safe and comply with legal requirements. Amazon requires a Safety Attestation before listing your products, which certifies that your products are safe and manufactured to the required standards.

During the Safety Attestation process, you must follow the following steps:

§§GL3 §§ Access to information from Amazon Seller Central

Under Article 16 of the GPSR, non-EU manufacturers are required to designate a person who is responsible for ensuring that your products comply with legal requirements in the EU market.

  1. Log in to your account Seller Central. 2. Go to Account Settings**. 3. Find Information** and fill in the required fields.

The information must be completed before listing your products, otherwise your listings are at risk of not being verified.

Multiple SKU management with Bulk Upload (CSV)

If you have multiple products, you can manage multiple SKU's simultaneously using the bulk upload method, which saves time and simplifies your process.

Go to the Inventory tab and select Add Products via Upload option. 2. Download the relevant CSV template. 3. Add your product information and §§GL3 §§ information to the CSV file. 4. Upload the file and complete the process.

With this method, you can update multiple SKUs in a single operation and add your GPSR information.

If listing is denied Correction stream

If your listing is rejected, don't worry. To understand the reason for the rejection and start the correction process, follow these steps:

  1. Review Reason for Refusal: Amazon will notify you of the reason for refusal via email or Seller Central. 2. Make necessary corrections: Update relevant documents or complete missing information. 3. Reapply: After you have made your corrections, send your listing to review again.

You have to be careful in this process; providing incomplete or incorrect information can lead to your listing being rejected again.

Prepare to enter the FBA warehouse checklist

When preparing for FBA (Fulfillment by Amazon) storage, you can use the following checklist:

By following these steps, you can complete your FBA warehouse log-in process seamlessly.

ASIN-based traceability recording

An ASIN (Amazon Standard Identification Number) traceability record makes it easy to track your products. Creating a separate ASIN for each product is important to ensure GPSR compliance. For an ASIN-based traceability record, follow these steps:

  1. Create ASIN for each product: Give each one a separate ASIN before listing your products. 2. Update Traceability Information: Associate changes in product information with ASIN. 3. Add Required Documents: Add the required documents for each ASIN (Safety Attestation, etc.).

This process is critical to ensuring the safety and legal compliance of your products.
