Amazon sellers offering affected non-food consumer products in EU stores must address both the legal GPSR duties and Amazon's platform workflow. Amazon's public guidance directs sellers to **Account Health → Regulatory Compliance** for affected brands and offers. The exact fields can vary by account, category and store, so this checklist separates confirmed information groups from account-specific prompts.

## What GPSR information does Amazon ask sellers to submit?

Amazon identifies three information groups for affected offers:

- **EU Responsible Person details** where Amazon requests them for the product and supply-chain setup,
- **manufacturer contact information**, and
- **warning and safety PDFs or images**, or an acknowledgement when that material is not required for the product.

Amazon's fields do not replace the manufacturer's product-safety work. The correct Article 16 economic operator depends on the manufacturer and supply chain. An EU manufacturer or importer may already fulfil the role; a written mandate with an EU authorised representative is another possible route when the legal conditions are met.

## Where do I add GPSR information in Amazon Seller Central?

Amazon's public instructions currently point to this workflow:

1. Sign in to **Seller Central**.
2. Open **Performance → Account Health**.
3. Select **Regulatory Compliance**.
4. Review the affected brands and offers.
5. Complete the Responsible Person, manufacturer and safety-information fields Amazon shows.
6. Check the result for every affected offer and every EU store in which you sell.

Seller Central navigation and field names can change. Use the prompts visible in your own account rather than assuming that a screenshot or template from another seller is identical.

## What must appear on an Amazon offer under GPSR Article 19?

For an EU distance-sale offer, Article 19 requires the manufacturer's name or trade name and postal and electronic address. If the manufacturer is outside the EU, the offer must also show the name, postal address and electronic address of the responsible economic operator in the EU. The offer must identify the product through a picture, type and another identifier, and display applicable warnings or safety information in a language consumers can easily understand.

The complete legal breakdown is available in our [GPSR Article 19 online-offer guide](https://eugpsr.de/en/blog/gpsr-online-sales-required-info).

## Which record supports each Seller Central field?

| Seller Central item | Source record you should control | Check before submission |
| --- | --- | --- |
| EU Responsible Person | Article 16 role analysis and, where applicable, a valid written mandate | Name, postal address and electronic address match the mandate and label |
| Manufacturer contact | Legal manufacturer record and technical file | Legal name and contact details match the product and packaging |
| Warning or safety material | Product risk analysis, instructions and label artwork | The file belongs to the exact product and uses the required consumer language |
| ASIN or SKU mapping | Product identifier, model and document-version register | Each offer points to the correct product record rather than a similar item |
| EU-store status | Submission log for each Amazon EU store | Every affected store and offer has been checked after upload |

This mapping matters because an ASIN is an Amazon catalogue identifier, not a GPSR technical record. Keep a separate product register connecting each affected ASIN or SKU to the product model, batch or serial identifier, manufacturer, Article 16 operator, risk analysis, technical-file version, label and warnings.

## Can Amazon GPSR information be uploaded for many SKUs at once?

Do not assume that one universal CSV workflow is available for every Amazon account or category. Start with the affected offers under **Regulatory Compliance** and use the bulk tool or template Amazon presents in that account. If no bulk option is shown, follow the offer-level workflow. After any bulk action, verify every affected ASIN or SKU and every EU store separately.

## What should I do if Amazon rejects the GPSR submission?

Use the rejection reason as the starting point. Do not resubmit the same document unchanged. Compare the rejected field with the correct manufacturer, mandate, product identifier and safety record; correct the mismatch; then submit through the route shown in Account Health. Our dedicated [Amazon GPSR rejected-listing correction guide](https://eugpsr.de/en/blog/amazon-listing-rejected-gpsr-fix) covers the common failure patterns without duplicating them here.

## Does FBA change the GPSR checklist?

FBA does not remove the manufacturer's or other economic operators' GPSR duties. Before sending inventory, confirm that the physical product, packaging or accompanying document carries the required traceability and contact information; that Amazon's online fields refer to the same product; and that the current technical records support the warnings and claims used for that offer.

## When can Grüner Baum help with an Amazon mandate?

[Grüner Baum GmbH's Amazon GPSR Responsible Person service](https://eugpsr.de/en/amazon-gpsr) is intended for product portfolios where a written authorised-representative mandate is the appropriate Article 16 route. Grüner Baum is based in Germany and registered in the Amazon Solution Provider Network (SPN). SPN registration does not mean Amazon approves a product, document or listing; Amazon keeps its own review and listing decisions.
